1. Information about the collection of personal data

(1) Below we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data that relate to you personally, e.g. name, address, email addresses, user behavior.

(3) When you contact us by e-mail or through a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address and your name as well as the data you enter in the free text fields) will be stored by us to answer your queries. We will delete the data arising in this context as soon as storage is no longer necessary, or restrict processing if there are statutory retention obligations.

(4) If we use commissioned service providers for individual functions of our offer or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below. In this context, we also name the established criteria for the duration of storage.

(1) You have the following rights regarding your personal data that we hold:

3. Collection of personal data when visiting our website

(1) When using the website for informational purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or provide us with information in any other way, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. When you want to view our website, we collect the following data that are technically necessary for us to display our website and to ensure stability and security (the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR):

  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

  • Access status/HTTP status code

  • Data volume transmitted at a time

(2) In addition to the previously mentioned data, cookies will be stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are assigned to the browser you use and are stored on your hard drive, through which certain information flows to the place that sets the cookie (in this case, through us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet offering more user-friendly and effective overall.

(4) Use of third-party tools:

HubSpot is an integrated software solution that covers various aspects of our online marketing. These include:

Email marketing, social media publishing & reporting, contact management (e.g. user segmentation & CRM), landing pages, and contact forms.

Our sign-up service allows visitors to our website to learn more about our company, download content, and provide their contact information as well as additional demographic information. This information, as well as the content of our website, is stored on the servers of our software partner HubSpot. They can be used by us to contact visitors to our website and to determine which services of our company are of interest to them. All information we collect is subject to this privacy policy. We use all collected information solely to optimize our marketing measures.

As part of the optimization of our marketing measures, the following data can be collected and processed via HubSpot:

  • Files displayed on-site

The legal basis for processing is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If you do not want the mentioned data to be collected and processed via HubSpot, you can refuse your consent or withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

The personal data will be stored as long as necessary to fulfill the processing purpose. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for achieving the purpose. As part of the processing via HubSpot, data may be transferred to the USA. The security of transmission is ensured through so-called standard contractual clauses, which guarantee that the processing of personal data is subject to a security level that conforms to that of the GDPR. If the standard contractual clauses are insufficient to ensure an adequate level of security, your consent according to Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a GDPR may serve as a legal basis for the transfer to third countries.

  • Usercentrics

On this website, we use the services of Usercentrics. The service is operated by Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich. Usercentrics is a consent management service. With the help of Usercentrics, the legally required consent for data protection is obtained. In this context, the following data is processed:

  • Browser information

  • Opt-in and opt-out data

  • Request URLs of the website

  • Path of the website

  • Geographical location

  • Date and time of the visit

  • Device information

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. The processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation (obtaining and managing data protection consents).

The data (consent and withdrawal of consent) will be stored as long as necessary for processing — usually three years.

5. Note on external links

Branchly GmbH is responsible as a content provider according to § 7 para. 1 Telemedia Act for the “own contents” provided on www.branchly.io for use according to general laws. These own contents are to be distinguished from cross-references (“links”) to the contents provided by other providers. Through the cross-reference, branchly GmbH makes
