branchly at TI.CON 2026: Market research in real time

From October 13 to 14, branchly was at TI.CON in Bremen, the industry gathering for tourist information centers and destination organizations. Highlight: the talk by founder Sebastian Flick on the new approach to guest surveys.

TI.CON was organized by destinet, the specialist portal for destination management, at the Kunsthalle Bremen. branchly was on site both days, held discussions with tourist information centers and DMOs from all over Germany, and demonstrated live what the AI platform could look like on their websites.

The talk: Collecting data is not enough

On the second day, Sebastian Flick shared the stage with Nina Gleitsmann, Head of Marketing at Tourismus-Agentur Nordsee (TANO). Topic: the new approach to guest surveys—24/7, live, and directly in dialogue. The key message: traditional market research comes too late and is expensive. Ex-post surveys only reach guests after their trip; web analytics show what happens, but not why guests drop off.

The alternative approach: the dialogue with the guest takes place directly on the website, at the moment of the travel decision. Every interaction becomes a structured data set from which the AI reveals decision barriers, open questions, and real needs. And most importantly, as Flick put it: Don't just collect data—do something with it. Only the combination of AI agents such as Langdock and branchly Skills turns guest insights into website optimization in seconds.

Practical application in the TANO region

Using the TANO region as an example, the talk showed how the insights flow directly into marketing work: identifying unmet information needs, removing booking barriers, and aligning landing pages and campaigns with real guest situations.

"Many conversations have shown: the industry knows it needs data. The real question is how to turn that data into better content and more bookings in a short time. That is exactly what our platform stands for."
